 I sell/lease Mercedes Benz vehicles, and we pride ourselves on having some of the most informed customers among the general buying public. The majority of our customers are lease customers (appx 72%) who desire a new vehicle every 36 months or so.
The problem we are presently running into, is  escalating monthly lease costs, due to shrinking lease residuals.

		<description>i had a smartbuy agreement and with hurricane ike we lost our car to flood damage. i was told by the salesperson that we were leasing the car and our gap insurance was included in our monthly payments. when our insurance co. paid gmac they paid less than what was owed according to gmac and now they want us to pay $9000 more as we did not have gap insurance under smartbuy.....what can we do as we cannot pay that much . we feel that we were deceived.....can you help????</description>
